Advanced Placement Program
Roosevelt H.S. offers students in grades 9-12 the opportunity to take Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Many universities grant college credit to students who achieve scores of 3 or above on the national AP exam given every May.

All students who take AP courses in high school have greater odds of succeeding in college and beyond irrespective of the  scores earned on the exam.  We encourage all students to embrace the challenge of AP and enroll in a course in order to gain exposure to a rigorous curriculum which will ensure their success in post-secondary education.
